The Enterprise’s Ministry of Illusions: A Vertically Integrated Alternate Reality Scheme
A guide to understanding how little respect The Enterprise has for their audience's intelligence

We've seen some breathtaking displays of political hypocrisy in our time—and as people who've spent decades chronicling the follies of both left and right, that's saying something. But the recent pearl-clutching from Texas Scorecard about State Representative Jared Patterson allegedly recruiting primary challengers against politicians aligned with The Enterprise? This takes the cake, eats it too, and then complains about the calories.
This isn't just garden-variety political hypocrisy. This is a master class in gaslighting that would make Orwell's Ministry of Truth blush with envy. It's the kind of shameless double standard that makes you wonder if these people think their audience consists entirely of goldfish with severe memory problems, or if they've become so drunk on their own media manipulation apparatus that they genuinely believe they can reshape reality through sheer audacity.

The Primary Challenge Machine: A Brief History Lesson
To understand just how rich this hypocrisy is, we need to take a little trip down memory lane. The Enterprise political machine—what critics have aptly dubbed a "Russian-style oligarchy"—has spent the better part of two decades perfecting the art of the primary challenge. Their modus operandi is as simple as it is ruthless: systematically eliminate any Republican who doesn't toe their particular ideological line through well-funded primary campaigns.
Tim Dunn himself has called primary challenges the "Texas equivalent of term limits." Their tactical brilliance lies in transforming Austin's political climate into what one observer called a "perpetual primary season." It's genius, really, if you're into that sort of Machiavellian political theater. Most Texas Republicans now live in constant fear of being primaried, which tends to concentrate the mind wonderfully when it comes to voting the "right" way.
Central to this operation is their infamous "scorecard" system—a political report card. Organizations like Texans for Fiscal Responsibility, a dark money subsidiary of the The Enterprise network, warn legislators about how upcoming votes will affect their "conservative rankings." Fall below their arbitrary threshold, vote to impeach their well-financed, albeit adulterous Attorney General, and suddenly you're facing a well-funded primary challenger faster than you can say "Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations."
The system creates what we like to call "scorecard voters"—politicians who evaluate every decision not on its merits, but on how it will play to The Enterprise overlords. Some politicians have become so financially dependent on this network that they receive up to 65% of their total contributions from The Enterprise. As former State Senator Kel Seliger observed with admirable understatement, "If you don't show up well on the scorecard, you're going to have a lot of money spent against you."
So when Texas Scorecard expresses shock—shock!—that Jared Patterson might be looking for primary challengers, well, it's like Al Capone complaining about jaywalking. It's the pot calling the kettle black, if the pot had spent millions of dollars perfecting the art of being black and then trademarked the technique.
The Media Manipulation Empire: A Vertically Integrated Approach to Reality
Texas Scorecard: The Propaganda Mothership
At the center of this web sits Texas Scorecard itself, operating under the innocuous-sounding Citizens News Guild, with Tim Dunn as chairman. Don't let the "news" designation fool you—this isn't journalism in any recognizable sense. It's aggressive political advocacy dressed up in the clothes of reporting, complete with editorial scorecards designed to influence primary elections.
With over $2.5 million in annual revenue as of 2023, Texas Scorecard employs a professional staff that includes investigative reporters, data analysts, and opposition researchers. Their impact extends well beyond traditional media, influencing everything from administrative decisions at Texas A&M regarding gender-affirming care to broader policy discussions across the state.
Publisher Michael Quinn Sullivan, whose decade-long financial dependence on Dunn ensures perfect alignment with the network's goals, has a history of controversial tactics.
Influenceable LLC: The Swarm Campaign Specialists
Here's where things get really dystopian. The network utilizes a Tim Dunn-financed company called Influenceable LLC to orchestrate what they euphemistically call "swarm campaigns"—essentially bombarding social media with coordinated propaganda disguised as authentic grassroots sentiment.
Owned by Brad Parscale, Trump's former digital director, Influenceable brands itself as "the world's largest network of digital activists." But what they really are is a sophisticated manipulation operation that recruits young conservative activists for undisclosed political messaging campaigns.
During Ken Paxton's impeachment proceedings, Defend Texas Liberty PAC paid Influenceable $18,000 to recruit what they call "Z-list influencers"—paying them between $50 and $200 to promote specific tweets attacking House Speaker Dade Phelan with hashtags like #DrunkDade and #TexasCorruption. These influencers were given explicit instructions on how to endorse the messaging, all while concealing their paid relationships through mandatory non-disclosure agreements.
Think about the cynicism here. They treat young activists as expendable pawns while assuming their followers are too naive to recognize manufactured content. The deliberate concealment through NDAs shows they understand perfectly well the deceptive nature of their tactics—they just believe they can manipulate public perception through coordinated attacks that flood social media with identical messaging.
CWS Research: Fake Polling for Fun and Profit
If you want to understand how little respect these people have for their audience's intelligence, look no further than CWS Research, the "favored polling firm" of Texas Scorecard's operation. They specialize in what can only be described as manipulative polling techniques designed to advance biased narratives and create false realities.
Their methodology is simple: omit clear methodology and crosstabs while creating an "illusion of credibility" that capitalizes on an audience presumed not to "think critically or seek additional sources of information." It's polling as propaganda, designed to mislead people who trust statistical analysis but lack the expertise to identify methodological flaws.
It's the kind of cynical manipulation that assumes your audience consists of rubes who can be fooled by anything with numbers attached to it.
AI-Powered Behavioral Manipulation: The Future of Political Warfare
But the crown jewel of this manipulation empire has to be their investment in AI-powered psychological warfare. One of Tim Dunn's shell companies, Hexagon Partners, has invested $7.5 million in something called AiAdvertising, while Defend Texas Liberty PAC paid HUMN Behavior LLC $55,000 for "decision intelligence" and "cultural intelligence" services. Tim Dunn has recently become a significant investor in both companies.
These aren't your typical political consulting firms. They specialize in creating "digital twins" of target populations and deploying "machine learning algorithms to create comprehensive psychological profiles" from social media activity, search patterns, and purchase histories. They identify "persuadable voters" through psychological vulnerabilities and create hyper-personalized campaigns targeting individual "interests, prejudices, and fears."
The integration of these AI tools enables what they call "data-driven voter influence, using behavioral science techniques to craft messages designed to trigger specific emotional responses" rather than engaging in anything resembling legitimate policy debate. They can generate "thousands of content variations tailored to specific psychological profiles," including AI-generated news articles, synthetic social media posts, and personalized videos with AI-generated spokespersons.
This represents the ultimate expression of their contempt for democratic discourse—using cutting-edge technology to exploit human psychology rather than persuade through honest argument. The system is "exponentially more powerful" at fabricating and embedding false narratives while making it nearly impossible for ordinary citizens to distinguish authentic from synthetic information.
Pipeline Media: Fake News on an Industrial Scale
As if all that weren't enough, the network operates over 1,300 websites through something called Pipeline Media, creating what investigators have called "the largest 'pink slime' journalism operation in American history." Tim Dunn serves as managing director of this vast disinformation infrastructure, which systematically influences local information environments with content favorable to network positions while masquerading as legitimate local news.
This operation demonstrates perhaps the most cynical aspect of their manipulation strategy—exploiting people's trust in local journalism by creating fake news websites that appear authentic. They understand that many Americans, particularly in smaller communities, still trust local news sources, and they exploit this trust to inject their political messaging into seemingly credible reporting.
It's the kind of operation that make Soviet propagandists weep with envy.
Per @stevanzetti, Tim Dunn is also a managing director of Pipeline Media. https://t.co/CWu1r3nsPN

Coordinated Manipulation Workflow: How HUMN Behavior, AiAdvertising, and Influencable Work Together Across 8 Stages
-
Stage 1: Intelligence Gathering
HUMN Behavior LLC, founded by Cambridge Analytica alumnus Matt Oczkowski, deploys its FLOCKS behavioral intelligence platform to conduct comprehensive psychological profiling of target populations. The company received $55,000 from Defend Texas Liberty PAC, indicating its central role in the network's data operations. Oczkowski's background in "Project Alamo" - the Facebook-based voter manipulation system from Trump's 2016 campaign - provides the technical foundation for identifying vulnerable populations through social media scraping and behavioral analysis.Meanwhile, Influencable identifies and recruits conservative Gen Z influencers, building a network of over 1,200 content creators who can serve as human faces for inauthentic messaging. Pipeline Media, with Tim Dunn listed as managing director, establishes networks of fake local news sites that mimic legitimate journalism to create narrative seeding platforms.
-
Stage 2: Behavioral Analysis
HUMN Behavior's core function involves exploiting cognitive biases and psychological triggers. Drawing from Oczkowski's Cambridge Analytica experience with psychographic targeting, the platform identifies decision-making patterns, emotional vulnerabilities, and exploitable belief systems. This analysis enables the creation of targeted messaging that bypasses rational evaluation by triggering emotional responses. -
Stage 3: Narrative Construction
The three companies coordinate to develop persuasive narratives that exploit identified psychological vulnerabilities. HUMN Behavior provides data-driven insights for message framing, while Influencable develops talking points suitable for social media influencers. Pipeline Media creates pseudo-journalistic content that appears legitimate but serves partisan messaging goals. -
Stage 4: Content Creation
This stage involves coordinated inauthentic behavior across multiple platforms. Influencable facilitates content creation through its influencer network, while HUMN Behavior optimizes content for maximum psychological impact using behavioral science principles. Pipeline Media produces news-style articles through its network of over 1,100 fake local news sites, creating the illusion of independent confirmation for manufactured narratives. -
Stage 5: Distribution
The companies deploy coordinated messaging across multiple platforms simultaneously. HUMN Behavior segments audiences based on behavioral profiles, Influencable coordinates synchronized posting across its influencer network, and Pipeline Media distributes content through its fake news network. This multi-platform approach creates the false impression of widespread, organic support for manufactured narratives. -
Stage 6: Amplification
The system leverages both human and algorithmic amplification. Influencable's network provides "organic" amplification through coordinated influencer promotion, while Pipeline Media cross-promotes content across its network of sites. HUMN Behavior provides real-time feedback to optimize message amplification based on engagement patterns. -
Stage 7: Engagement Monitoring
All three companies monitor the effectiveness of their manipulation efforts. HUMN Behavior tracks engagement patterns and behavioral responses, Influencable monitors influencer performance and audience reactions, and Pipeline Media tracks narrative spread across traditional and social media. This data feeds back into the system for continuous optimization. -
Stage 8: Narrative Adjustment
Based on performance data, the companies adjust their messaging strategies. HUMN Behavior's behavioral analytics inform narrative pivots, Influencable adjusts influencer messaging based on effectiveness metrics, and Pipeline Media modifies content distribution based on media response.
Methodology for Mass Manipulation
The integration of these three companies creates a comprehensive system for manufacturing and embedding false narratives:
-
Data Collection: HUMN Behavior's behavioral intelligence platform identifies vulnerable populations and psychological triggers
-
Message Development: Coordinated development of narratives optimized for specific psychological vulnerabilities
-
Multi-Platform Deployment: Simultaneous distribution through fake news sites and influencer networks
-
Artificial Amplification: Coordinated promotion creating false impression of organic support
-
Real-Time Optimization: Continuous adjustment based on engagement and effectiveness data
Implications
The Enterprise has invested in building a sophisticated mind manipulation apparatus that operates through coordinated psychological warfare designed to:
-
Exploit Psychological Vulnerabilities: Target cognitive biases and emotional triggers for maximum manipulation effectiveness
-
Create False Reality: Manufacture artificial consensus through coordinated inauthentic behavior
-
Launder Credibility: Use fake news networks to legitimize partisan messaging
-
Evade Detection: Coordinate across multiple platforms and entities to obscure the artificial nature of operations
-
Scale Manipulation: Deploy industrial-scale influence operations affecting millions of Americans
The Height of Hypocrisy: A Case Study in Shamelessness
So here we have an organization that has spent years and millions of dollars perfecting the art of the primary challenge, celebrating incumbent defeats, and building an entire media empire around supporting primary challengers. An organization that operates sophisticated AI-powered manipulation campaigns, coordinates fake grassroots operations, and runs what could be the largest disinformation apparatus in American history.
And now they're complaining that Jared Patterson might field primary challengers against their allies?
This isn't just hypocrisy—it's shameless hypocrisy. It's like watching a master chef complain that someone else is cooking food. It's Al Capone filing a noise complaint. It's the Ministry of Truth expressing concern about fake news.
The accusation against Patterson isn't a genuine concern for fair play—it's a strategic attempt to maintain their grip on power and control the narrative. They're confident that their sophisticated media manipulation apparatus can pervert the truth and that their audience will accept their distorted reality without question.
This represents what can only be called the height of hypocrisy—an organization built on primary challenges complaining when someone dares to use their own tactics against them. Their behavior mirrors the very traits they criticize, illustrating a brazen display of dishonesty that exploits their audience's vulnerability to critical thinking and rationality.
When Pots Call Kettles Black
In the end, The Enterprise's reaction to Patterson reveals the fundamental dishonesty at the heart of their entire operation. When the pot calls the kettle black, it's worth examining which vessel is actually dirty. In this case, the answer is crystal clear.
What we're witnessing isn't just political hypocrisy—it's the logical endpoint of a system that has abandoned any pretense of honest discourse in favor of sophisticated manipulation and control. They've built a machine designed to exploit human psychology, manufacture consent, and shape reality itself. And when someone dares to call out their political tactics, they cry foul with all the sincerity of a three-dollar bill.
The real tragedy here isn't just the hypocrisy—it's what it reveals about their utter contempt for the democratic process. They've created a system that treats Texans not as citizens to be persuaded, but as marks to be manipulated. And that, more than any primary challenge, represents the real threat to our political system.
