The Scorecard Syndicate
These organizations have perfected the art of financial manipulation, funneling substantial amounts of money into various entities to bolster their quest for control.
In recent revelations, Scorecard Confessions has brought to light disturbing details surrounding a playbook aimed at seeking revenge on the Texas House for the expulsion Bryan Slaton, following unsuccessful attempts by this group to shield him from his impending fate.
One key figure within this network, Jonathan Stickland, recently made questionable accusations that House Speaker Dade Phelan was intoxicated while presiding over the Texas House last Friday.
Anyone who watches the #txlege House knows many of the members are regularly intoxicated.

Watching the Speaker be this wasted is absolutely unacceptable.

In tandem, the network launched a widespread messaging campaign targeting specific House districts, pressuring members to demand Speaker Phelan's resignation based on Stickland's speculative claims. Adding to the chorus, Attorney General Ken Paxton joined in calling for Phelan's resignation.
Previously, Scorecard Confessions exposed the playbook devised by the Texas Scorecard network back in April 2023. This playbook aimed to cover up the misconduct of disgraced former House Member Bryan Slaton, who had engaged in supplying alcohol and engaging in a sexual affair with one of his teenage staffers. Although their efforts to protect Slaton failed, as he was ultimately expelled from the Texas House of Representatives, their plan to seek revenge by conflating the actions of other members and inundating the political media landscape with baseless speculations and accusations, demanding accountability and punishment based on these speculations, continues to be in full swing.
Ken Paxton's Interference in Phelan Controversy
On Monday, Attorney General Ken Paxton, who himself is under FBI investigation for bribery and awaits trial for Securities Fraud, joined the ranks of these questionable actors by calling for Speaker Phelan's resignation. It was later revealed that Paxton's demand for resignation was an attempt to preemptively mislead Texans into believing that an announcement by the House General Investigations Committee was in retaliation for his call for Phelan's resignation. However, it was proven to be untrue, as the Committee had been investigating Paxton for potentially criminal activities since March, predating the Slaton scandal and the allegations against Phelan. Paxton faces up to 99 years in prison in the securities fraud case.
Interestingly, shortly after receiving notice from the Committee to preserve all records and documents related to their investigation, Paxton's office experienced a suspicious dumpster fire, with multiple videos surfacing depicting the dumpster engulfed in flames containing what appeared to be paperwork. This raises the question of whether this fire was a bizarre coincidence or an intentional act of spoliation of evidence. As the saying goes, where there's smoke, there's fire.

Unsurprisingly, Paxton's eagerness to deflect scrutiny from the General Investigation Committee's hearing is understandable, considering the damning revelation of his persistent efforts to interfere and obstruct an ongoing investigation. This recurring behavior is emblematic of the modus operandi observed within the axis of allies.

Following the Airbnb playbook to the letter
In our article titled "Bryan Slaton's Airbnb Meeting" published on May 15, we revealed the vengeful scheme orchestrated by Bryan Slaton and his allies from Texas Scorecard. This plot aimed to retaliate against Slaton's removal from the Texas House:
Here's the template:
Step 1: Unearth evidence to substantiate other alleged affairs, with most talk suggesting that these affairs involve two members.
Step 2: Disclose the information to media outlets that are supportive of the cause, allowing them to expose the misconduct.
Step 3: Demand an investigation and/or expulsion of those members, by conflating their actions with Representative Slaton having sex with a teenager.
Step 4: In the event that the House fails to expel Slaton, falsely accuse the Speaker of hypocrisy. Assert that Slaton was only expelled because he was one of the few "true conservatives" in the legislature.
Poof! In an instant, Slaton transforms into a martyr.
This network has audaciously adhered to their playbook without any regard for ethical or legal consequences, following it meticulously.
It comes as no surprise that they exhibit a complete lack of fear when it comes to facing repercussions, considering their axis of allies includes the top law enforcement official, who has received millions of dollars in campaign contributions from their associates.
Follow the money
The unfolding post-Slaton retaliation campaign exposes a formidable network of 19 influential donors propelling the driving forces behind this meticulously orchestrated effort. These affluent individuals have pooled their resources, contributing an astonishing $43 million to the coffers of 10 primary far-right figures or organizations that are diligently adhering to their playbook. Their attention has now shifted towards launching unrelenting attacks against Dade Phelan, making him the latest target in their relentless quest for control over Texas politics and exacting revenge. With a substantial surge in financial support since 2012, these major donors have exerted significant influence, shaping the narrative and skillfully manipulating the course of political events.
The lineup of financial backers flowing in and out of these campaigns and organizations' aligns with the network's practice of shuffling staff members.
One cannot help but wonder: What have these donors gained in exchange for their substantial financial support? Most of these donors not only supported Bryan Slaton but also financed Ken Paxton, one of the most corrupt Attorney Generals in Texas history. Their financial backing has bolstered individuals tainted with scandal and allegations of wrongdoing, further highlighting their blatant disregard for ethical governance.

The Texas Scorecard network's actions raise concerns about the preservation of democratic principles and the integrity of the political process. By examining their behaviors and the implications thereof, we can gain a deeper understanding of the potential threats posed to our democratic institutions.
The Scorecard Syndicate
The available evidence presents a deeply troubling portrait that cannot be ignored. In the following sections, we broadly delve into the unsettling particulars and build a compelling argument for the presence of a formidable enterprise within the realm of Texas politics. In the coming weeks and months, we will meticulously examine each of these facets.
Coordinated Strategies
A striking pattern emerges as we examine the actions of this network. Their methods bear an uncanny resemblance to the coordinated strategies employed by organized syndicates. Through carefully orchestrated campaigns, they manipulate public opinion, exert control over key political figures, and stifle dissent. This calculated approach points to a level of organization and collusion that cannot be dismissed as mere coincidence.
Pattern of Activity
The consistency and repetition of certain behaviors cannot be overlooked. The network engages in a systematic assault on the truth, flooding the media landscape with false narratives and baseless accusations. By sowing confusion and disarray, they seek to undermine public trust in democratic institutions.
These organizations have perfected the art of financial manipulation, funneling substantial amounts of money into various entities to bolster their extortion campaigns. Through strategic contributions, they effectively infiltrate the political landscape, using their financial leverage to exert influence and push their agenda. By greasing the wheels of political machinery, they create a network of complicity, ensuring that their interests are prioritized and their enemies are silenced. It is a sophisticated system of financial control that allows them to amass power and manipulate the democratic process to their advantage.
Example 1: The network's playbook, as revealed by Scorecard Confessions, outlines a pattern of behavior that involves covering up misconduct, orchestrating attacks on political opponents, and flooding the media landscape with wild accusations and speculation. Their consistent use of these tactics suggests a calculated approach aimed at achieving their political goals.
Example 2: From Scorecard Confession's first report:
They sought the assistance of Texas GOP Chairman Matt Rinaldi, to be tasked with creating distractions, misdirections, and delays to impede other conservative groups including the Texas GOP from responding before, during, or after the investigation.
The Enterprise
The intricate web of connections among these individuals reveals the existence of an enterprise operating with shared goals and a unified agenda. They wield considerable influence and employ their resources to advance their interests, often at the expense of ethical governance and the will of the people. This web extends its tentacles into political circles, tainting decision-making processes and compromising the integrity of the democratic system.
Example: The network includes individuals like Jonathan Stickland, the Texas Scorecard network, Attorney General Ken Paxton, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, and Michael Quinn Sullivan's Texas Scorecard. Together, they actively engage in disseminating narratives, executing messaging campaigns, and coordinating their actions to advance their intended objectives.
Influence on Interstate Commerce
While not explicitly acknowledged, the repercussions of this network's actions extend beyond state lines. Texas holds significant sway over national affairs, making its political landscape a crucial battleground for competing interests. By exerting control over key political figures and manipulating outcomes, this alleged network may indirectly influence interstate commerce, potentially compromising the broader interests of the nation.
Example: The network's influence reaches beyond Texas, as their messaging campaigns and orchestrated actions have the potential to shape national narratives and influence public sentiment. By leveraging media channels and social platforms, they can impact the perception of governance and potentially affect economic and business interests associated with political decisions.
Connecting the Dots
The evidence continues to mount, revealing a disturbing picture of corruption and manipulation within Texas politics. The ties between these influential figures, their concerted efforts to protect disgraced individuals, and the orchestrated attacks on those who threaten their agenda cannot be brushed aside as mere coincidence.
The existence of this enterprise within Texas politics should not be taken lightly
Since our inception, Scorecard Confessions has peeled back the layers of secrecy and exposed a web of corruption that threatens the very foundations of our democratic system. The evidence presented paints a disturbing picture of a well funded network engaging in coordinated strategies, manipulating public opinion, and influencing key political figures for personal gain.
The playbook uncovered by Scorecard Confessions, designed to protect disgraced individuals and seek revenge on those who threaten their agenda, is a stark reminder of the lengths some will go to maintain their grip on power.
The urgency for transparency, accountability, and prompt action from regulatory bodies has reached a critical juncture. The presence of a potential enterprise within the realm of Texas politics demands our unwavering attention. It is imperative that we engage in thorough investigations to uncover the truth, hold those accountable, and rebuild the trust in our democratic institutions.
The actions of these individuals, their attempts to silence dissent, and their calculated assault on the truth undermine the trust we place in our democratic process. It is a betrayal of the very principles upon which our nation was founded.
